Nabawia “Nabby” Elsoudani, the founder of Open Mind Designs, is an experienced graphic and web designer as well as a video and multimedia artist. She has independently produced , directed, edited and animated film and videos with original motion graphics that screened nationally and internationally in festivals such as Tarfest, Freewaves, Jackson Hole, and Busan in Korea. She has taught at the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts), the alma mater of Tim Burton—Director of Nightmare Before Christmas and Stephen Hillenburg —Creator of Sponge Bob Square Pants). Olivera currently teaches at Orange Coast College, where Paul Frank learned the design skills to make it big with his monkey T-shirts and she also teaches graphic design, video and animation courses in the graphic and web design program at the Career Technical Education Center at ABC Adult School.
Nabby Elsoudani holds a BA from the University of California, Irvine (UCI) & an MFA from the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts).
